Kuusamo

Late update
Friday it was team competition in Kuusamo in Finland. the result list was a bit of a suprise, Poland did not impres with an 11th place. ( with only 11 countries participating) the jumps just wasnt good enough.
Finland was improving there jumping since last year, and ended on a 7th place. Anyway the winner was Germany and Austria came second. Slovenia third and Norway fourth. You can see the whole list here: http://fisskijumping.com/

Saturday it was the individual competition. and since the hill in Kuusamo is such a difficult hill it was some suprises on the result list. you had to be lucky with the conditions and of course have a good jump. Severin Freund won that competition. Dimitry Vassiliev on second and Simon Ammann on Third.  Thomas Morgenstern who was the last jumper it the first round, since he was leading the world cup. anyway, he had realy bad conditions and did not make it to the second round...... Gregor Schlierenzauer came on fourth place and best norwegian was Anders Bardal on 10th place.

Big Hill, Lillehammer

Todays competition in Lysgårdsbakkene was very interesting. because all the assumed best ski jumpers showed what they are capable to. Now Thomas Morgenstern is back yellow and leading the world cup, so far.
Todays podium was : 1: Gregor Schlierenzauer   275.5 points
                                 2: Anders Fannemel          275.4 points
                                 3: Thomas Morgenstern    269.4 points

Lillehammer

yesterday and today there have been competitions in Lillehammer. :) yesterday it was the first mixed competition on snow EVER! and Norway won it! even if Anette sagen fell. here are the whole result list for the mixed competition:  http://www.fis-ski.com/uk/604/610.html?sector=JP&raceid=3550


Today it was the first individual competition for this season. it was very fun to watch it, maybe because i have missed it so much. ;) you can see the whole result list here:

tomorrow it is a new competition for the boys in the big hill in Lillehammer. it starts 13.56 at eurosport but on NRK it starts at 16.55

Nationals

Today it was the Nationals on Rena. They also jumped yesterday, individual normal hill and team.
Tom Hilde won the individual and his team won the team competition. Today is was the big hill they where jumping in, and there was many hill records. Anders Fannemel won today's competition and sat hill record with 136m. (I think)
I'm out traveling now so I'm gonna write more later. See you.

World Cup

Now it's only six days left until it starts! if you want to se it all you can turn on Eurosport at 11.45 for the qualification. if you can't watch that, you get another chance to watch the quali at 15.30.
The competition starts at 16.15. that is a mixed competition. the first in the world on snow!
for you Norwegian reader you can also watch the competition on NRK.

On saturday it is the individual competition. on NRK you can watch the womens competition, at 14.00 and men, at 14.45.
and at Eurosort you can watch the men at 13.45.

Sunday at 13.30 at Eurosport, and 17.00 at NRK

nationals and world cup

to all you Norwegian readers! this weekend it is the national competition! you can't see it on TV but I thought you should know. :)

And everybody REMEMBER next weekend the world cup is starting! so everybody; Lillehammer, don't forget it! i'm so excited! I have been waiting for this weekend since the world cup ended in Planica in march.

Here are some Austrians! enjoy!

Thomas Morgenstern

Thomas was born september 30. 1986 in Spinal an der drau. he's got a girlfriend and are going to be a dad in a few months. He's got 22 world cup victories and he won the world cup twice, in 2007/08 and 2010/11. he also like soccer and computer.

Gregor Schlierenzauer

Gregor was born january 7. 1990 in Innsbruck. in february 2006 he became junior world champion and he also won the world cup in 2008/09. only Matti Nykänen got more world cup victories, Matti has 46 victories and Gregor has 40. He also like music, cooking, billiard, surfing and poker.

Andreas Kofler

Andreas was born may 17. 1984 ( Norways national day ;) ) in Innsbruck. in 2009/10 he won the four hills tournament, and also the team medal  in Vikersund with these other guys i have written about here. He also like climbing and golf.

Martin Koch

Martin was born january 22. 1982 in Villach. He is the holder of the Austrian national record with a jump of 241.5 metres. He's got five worldcup victories and bronze medal from Vikersund 2012 and silver medal from Oberstdorf 2008. he also like golf, motorbike and flying.

Some Norwegians

We can start with some norwegians. 

Anders Bardal.

Anders Bardal was born August 24. 1982. he got his big breakthrough last season when he won the world cup. he's got two kids, Anna and Thomas with his fiancee Ingrid. he has 4 worldcup victories.

Tom Hilde.

Tom Hilde was born september 22. 1987 at Bærum hospital and grow up in Asker. He's got 3 worldcup victories and he got a third place in the four hills turnament in 2010/11. now he lives in Lillehammer. He started with skijumping when he was 7 years old because his brother jumped.

Anders Fannemel.

Anders Fannemel was born may 13. 1991. under the skiflying world championships  in Vikersund, he suprised everybody with a jump on 244.5m!! this summer he has been good in the GP.

Rune Velta.

Rune was born july 19. 1989. It was not so many who knew who Rune Velta was before the championships  in Vikersund where he got the silver medal individually. he jumped very good the whole weekend.

Anders Jacobsen.

Anders was born february 17. 1985. He won the four hills turnament in 2006/07 and he also got 6 worldcup victories. in may 2011 Anders said no to a place on the team, and said that he did not have motivason to keep going. just look forward to this season, because Anders is back!

Results Qualification

Severin Freund from Germany won the Qualification! Anders Bardal from Norway was second and Kamil Stoch from Poland was third..

Now the best Austrian boys are also competing in the Summer Grand Prix. Thomas Morgenstern and Gregor Schlierenzauer came on 6th and 7th place.

as you probably know Ander Jacobsen did a comeback and he qualified too. he came on 17th place.

The competition tomorow startes at 15.30 :) that is the last competition in the summerGP this year.
